Brent's Story
Where it all started...
Our founder, Brent Simkins, is a true automobile enthusiast who has been passionate about high-end motorcars for over 30 years. Brent's love for cars started when he purchased his first Mercedes-Benz convertible just before his 21st birthday. Since then, he has owned most of the finer car makes available and has become a proud member of the Ferrari Club of America.
It was during a trip to Italy five years ago that Brent discovered an old Ferrari 275 GTB antique model car. After researching the history of these Ferraris, he became a Ferrari guy and has owned one or more ever since. Brent's passion for cars has become a lifestyle and a car community that he has searched for but never found in any other car brand. As a member of the Ferrari Club of America, he has met great people, had great fun, and enjoyed the absence of ego trips.
Brent has spent the last 30 years doing his share of detailing, as he has always wanted his vehicles to look impeccable. Starting as a young man, he even ran a detailing business that offered a range of services, including rotary polishing, minor bodywork, painting, and repairs.
Today, detailing is different, with so many options and theories available. However, Brent believes that "clean is clean," and he has discovered that too many products are just masked in different bottles, doing the same job. Fellow FCA members have told Brent that they feel uncomfortable leaving their pride and joy with a 20-year-old, preferring to do the job themselves. However, they have no idea where to start.
Brent decided to develop an easy-to-follow rapid detailing system that helps others produce professional results in a reasonable amount of time. He understands that people don't have the time to spend in their garage forever, even though he loves his garage time.
